I grew up in the countryside of Eastern Canada and Nature was one of my first loves. The forest was a magic place, a place for exploration and contemplation. This probably led to my journey to India in 1978 where I lived for a year studying music and meditation. I have traveled much of the world always amazed by the rich diversity of culture and the uniqueness of each individual.

I believe that nature supplies us with most of our needs, including medicine (please respect Mother Nature). We rely far too much on the outside for our health and well-being. Health is a gift that we must learn to maintain and respect following simple natural laws. We cannot remove ourselves from nature; we are a piece, but only a piece, of a much larger web of life.

In my practice I try to understand what is out of balance and then guide my patients towards health through the use of acupuncture, herbal medicine, exercise and dietary recommendations. Health is an active process and one in which the patient must participate.
